Newberg Skatepark ( 1201 S. Blaine Street Newberg, OR. 97132 ) is about an hour SW of Portland. Built in 2000 by Dreamland Skateparks this 29,000 sq. ft. park is a pretty cool spot with a variety of stuff to hit throughout this sprawling park. Going from the left to right when entering you first encounter a round transition that comes to a flattened round point that at one point spun, continuing left you encounter a long 4/5ft offset 2 kidney shaped bowl that is super fun with great lines. At the far end of this bowl is a role in from a higher 5ft kidney shaped half bowl that ls pretty challenging from a goofy rider’s perspective but is really fun. To the left of the first bowl is a doubled hump with a 4ft handrail that spans the humps that leads up to the higher 5ft kidney shaped half bowl. This section is personally my favorite as I was able to create some really fun lines incorporating all aspects of that section of the park. At the back of the park, next to the 5ft kidney bowl is ...
