Scappoose Skatepark

Scappoose Skatepark located at E Columbia Ave & SE 2nd St in Scappoose, OR 97056 behind the police station is not a bad park. The Park was re-built by Grindline skateparks in 2012 so the concrete is in pretty good shape and rather smooth, the only issue that really came up was there was a lot of little pebbles that I hung up on a few times so maybe bring a push broom. The park has a few small street obstacles to hit like a pyramid with a ledge with angle iron and a handrail with a ledge with a little launch. The main things to hit are a concrete half pipe and a half bowl with a rounded hip in the center. The half pipe is about 6ft with a 7ft extension partially copped with pool copping and standard steel copping with the other side not having any at the top on one side, with a lower ledge with some steel copping on it. The bowl is about 3ft with standard copping throughout that slide rather well. I’ve been by here a few times, and it is usually over taken with scooter kids but if

Bingen Skatepark

Bingen Skatepark, (Daubenspeck Park) located at 413 W Humboldt St #401, Cook, WA 98605 . Built by Grindline skateparks in 2011 the park is 6000 sq. ft. and is a very fun park with super smooth concrete. The top of the park / street section starts with a stair gap and handrail that leads up to a kind of snake run street area that runs over to a quarter pipe / banked wall section with some oververt. This section leads into the big bowl that is super fun for carving down to the 10ft-ish deep end. The deep section has pool copping with the rest of the bowl consisting of standard copping that grinds really well. This park is fun and worth the drive if you like skating transitions and vert.

Luuwit Skate Spot

Luuwit Skate Spot – (  NE 131st Place & NE Failing ST  ) in NE Portland is one of my favorite spots that I have hit up so far. It is Designed by Grindline Skateparks and Built by Evergreen Skateparks , the same peeps that did the Gateway Skate Spot . Just like Gateway this park has exceptionally smooth and fast concrete that is easy to slide out of if you eat it. The Park has a decent sized half bowl that is about 4ft high with nice coping that runs the length of the bowl. The bowl transitions to a flat area that is bordered by inclined walls on both sides. On one side you have a flat slightly curved rail that is topped with metal, to the other side of the inclines a 2ft to 3ft angled inclined ledge that is also topped with metal. From there the park leads to a 6ft to 7ft J shaped half bowl that has an inclined roll-in on one side and a 2ft to 3ft quarter pipe on the other. I am a big fan of this spot, it is great to re-learn on and is helping with my progression not to mention re
