Evergreen Skatepark

Evergreen Skatepark located at 4046 Silvies Ln, Hillsboro, OR 97123 is a cute little park at just 1500 sq. ft. Built by Evergreen Skateparks in 2020 It’s basically a little flow bowl that has their signature super smooth concrete and nice copping that grinds really well. Being located in a new subdivision in Hillsboro be prepared for a bunch of little kids being there so you may have to wait for your line as the park is so small its basically a one skater at a time park. That said it was a pretty fun park for its size so if you area in the area hit it up.

Glenhaven Skatepark

Glenhaven Skatepark located at 2831 NE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97220 was designed and built by Dreamland Skateparks in 2007 and is a fun park that is fairly big at 11,000 Sq Ft. The Park has a street course with a ton of stuff to hit, a quarter pipe a sloped transition that leads down to some handrails, a stair gap, a euro gap, ledges with angle iron, a flat kinked rail, some fun boxes, a sloped brick transition all enclosed within a 4ft-ish quarter pipe transition. The park also has two bowls, a kidney shaped pool that goes about from a 4ft to about 10ft deep with pool coping and a fun 6ft bowl with standard coping that has an extension and some interesting lines to hit. I like this park a lot, the street section can get a bit busy, but the bowls have always been pretty mellow every time I hit the park so its worth checking out.

Portland Oregon (and its surrounding areas) is surprisingly a great skateboarding town, PDX “is the first city in the world to have a comprehensive master plan for skateboard park development. SPS conceived of and advocated for a Skatepark System Plan in 2001. It was adopted by Portland Parks & Recreation's skatepark advisory committee and carefully applied to existing park sites over a 24-month planning and public input period, and ultimately supported and passed by Portland’s five elected officials, its city council on August 3, 2005” 1 City council supported and passed a plan for the creation of 19 parks in Aug 2005, But since then more have been supported and built in Portland and the surrounding metro areas. Heath Eiland and Morgan Moss BMX Skate Park (House Park)

Heath Eiland and Morgan Moss BMX Skate Park also know by the locals as House Park is located in Auston Texas at 1213 Shoal Creek Blvd, Austin, TX 78701 . That’s right Kids I have official ventured outside of the Northwest to check out some other parks. Ok not really but we where in the area and had to check out some parks as part of our trip. The park is pretty fun and consists of a fairly big street section that I actually did not hit up but there is a nice long quarter pipe that’s about 4ft tall in the street part that’s kind of fun and a really fun big bowl section that I spent most of my time skating. After talking to some of the locals I guess the bowl was designed for the BMX’ers as there is a huge bike scene in Austin, but it skates really well. Anyways It ranges in size from about 6ft to up about 10ft at a nice half bowl with some oververt carve section and the entire bowl has a nice flow to it with the concrete and coping being in pretty good shape for its age. if you are in A...
