Silverton Skatepark in Silverton OR ( W Main St, Silverton, OR 97381 ) is a cool spot. The park is about an hour and half south of Portland Or. Built by Dreamland this 8,500 sq. ft. park is super smooth with really nice concrete. (Dreamland does great surface in my experience) The park consists of a street section that has two stair gaps, one with a handrail, one with a ledge, and a ledge drop flanked by two inclined transitions that lead down the beautiful bowl section. This section consists of two bowls that are spined with a wall ride that is coped across the two bowls. They range in heights, but they average 4.5ft to about 8ft or 9ft and the wall ride spine. The copping is great and easy to lock onto and slides great, the concrete is super smooth and fast. There are a lot of fun lines between both the bowls here, so this spot is definitely worth the drive.
This blog is about documenting the many parks that are within 200 miles of Portland Oregon and my progress after getting back into skateboarding after 17 years.
